Almost 6 months....almost 200 hours....several mistakes...2 good friends who did the tricky parts...lots of sleepless nights thinking the build thru...and so much fun...Gracie is done...mostly.

And now...meet Gracie.  Yes...another van...I've converted from a Ford gal (papa influence) to a Chevy Chick...lol! (an old one)......She's a work in progress

Had this sweet Rialta for about a year and a half...she was the perfect size.  The pups and I traveled Michigan...but she ultimately needed more attention and repair than I could handle.  She happily lives  in southern USA with someone who knows how to keep her running!  I miss you Winnie....

Home Sweet Home

Literally drove all day... Mission accomplished.  I think the pups are happy to be home too....peeing on every pad they can find...

Did some things I didn't want to do... Drove right thru Cincinnati and Dayton... In the rain... And made it safe and sound.  The buggy needs some attention.  But she made it...I drank my lite lime beer soon as I could get to it.... Chillin...

Learned so much these last few weeks... About myself... And about how blessed I am...

Every part of this trip was awesome!  I learned I really can do whatever I decide to do..was I nervous?  Oh yea!  I never will love semi trucks.. Nope... Not ever... But I talked to a nice ole trucker briefly today.. Asked him a question about where RV's belong at rest stops.. He was very kind.  No want to make those guys upset... I found myself stuck in between 2 trucks often... But I hailed Mary and thanked Jesus more often...Said a few nastys too... Ok.. More than a few.. But only when it was deserved.  There are crazy drivers out there!

Thank you Bernie and Jan!  Loved our outings... And thank you for the great  cooking... And helping me get the rv awning to work... And for putting up with the pups.... Love you guys so much... Been missing you...  And it was so great seeing niece Emily and husband Bradley!  And those beautiful kids.  You are such wonderful parents...Bradley.. You're one funny guy!  Smoochies to all of you.

Philip.. I had such a great time.  Zoey misses you.. Me too.  Thanks for the Apple festival... It was fun because we made it so!  And I really enjoyed your friends at dinner.. And your beautiful daughters.. And the meal they prepared...Amy.. I'm still laughing about Max...Scotty.. You are a chef!!! Suzanne.. That food got me thru several days of good eating!! Much appreciated!

Thank you Phil for showing me how to check my tires... I did it yesterday!!! Yay! And for getting me off the mountain...that was scary! But you were calming..you are so nice!  I love my plant... She survived.  And the pottery.. It will always be my favorite bowl....

Now..need to do laundry.... And put all this stuff away... At least I will have plenty of time to do it...

Life is a cool adventure... Next year... Westward bound!
