So.... Drive all day...took a wrong turn before I even left the New Haven area.. DOH! But... Though highway 27 is mostly 2 lanes.. And Smartypants GPS girl took me where I've never been.. And probably won't ever find that route EVER again... Not even for $$.... It was nice.  I got to pull over often for the pups... And practice downshifting thru the hills... Not much traffic either.. Except for the few miles I ventured on.. Too many trucks. Too fast... Yuk.. Me no like that part. Somehow... I finally crossed into Ohio... Have no clue where...snorting...I saw a winery sign... Awesome! Just a ways off the beaten path...  Its gorgeous here...I politely asked if i could spent the night.. They said not usually.. But they are so nice. No charge...   So guess what I bought!  Yumm. The chef even looked at my map and

gave me some good directions for morning.  Would like to avoid Cincinnati.  Avoided Dayton cuz I was LOST... Yay!!

New buggy

Lots of changes these days.  Bought a shorter rig... And LOVE it.  1992 Clarion Coachman.  23'. Awesome ride.  The sweet lady I help care for is heading to Florida in October.... SOOO I've decided to head to Georgia to visit some special people.  I'm a bit nervous... But I'm forging ahead. Bought new tires.  Been practicing the driving with my pups.  All is cool.  Went to Ohio overnight a few weeks ago. Went well... Even with a number of detours.  Recently joined a bunch of cool facebook RV sites.  So many good people out there.. Learning a lot.  A lot to learn.. RV AAA set. And just signed up for Passport.  I have learned one thing these past few years... One split second can change one's life forever....got me some fun to live....

Maiden voyage....

So it was 80 miles from home.. But one has to start somewhere!  Right?  I think the dogs aren't minding this new adventure at all.  In fact, they're tuckered from the long walk..

Four of my really great friends met me at the campsite earlier.  They brought food! Yay!  I just got to focus on the rig.  Lots to learn...THIS is awesome!  Yay!!!

Have had her a whole day!!  Working the weekend...come Monday..I get to start preparing for some fun on the road!!

Getting closer...

Well...Mom passed a little over a month ago....I'm no longer anyone's child.  A strange feeling.  But life goes on.  Been doing some looking around.  I have an idea about what type of vehicle I want....this summer...I will actually check out and drive....looking forward.  The new development...I will have 4 small dogs instead of 2.  But it'll work somehow.  A new adventure.....exciting.....
